
Barbara Karasek is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years in global brand and consumer marketing. She held executive roles at renowned organizations like SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, PGA TOUR, and NASCAR, managing divisions like sponsorship, licensing, e-commerce, and retail. Karasek gained significant experience and business acumen early in her career, living and working in multiple countries. Her achievements include award-winning marketing projects such as the NASCAR Street Tour, SeaRescue, SeaWorld’s Emmy-winning TV show, and various strategic partnerships. In 2018, Karasek, along with her husband, co-acquired Paradise, marking her entry into the tourism industry. She leverages her extensive marketing expertise and broad business network to devise superior strategies for diverse clients, including hotels, resorts, destinations, airports, and sports entities. Karasek’s role at Paradise has solidified her reputation as a “Dot Connector,” innovating solutions and solving business challenges. A distinguished academic, Karasek holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Florida, is Six Sigma Certified, and a Harvard Business School graduate in Strategic Marketing Management. She’s active in industry associations and various committees. Together with her husband, Tony, a former pro basketball player, Karasek is an enthusiastic investor and entrepreneur, eagerly awaiting the launch of their culinary-centric community, CERES. Outside of work, Karasek enjoys family time, outdoor activities, philanthropy, and is perpetually in search of the ideal fishing spot.
