Please follow the process below to apply as a speaker at FLOCC. Every submission is reviewed on a rolling basis.

Who should apply?
- DMO leaders and travel association executives who can speak to industry trends as they relate to LGBTQ tourism with a special focus on those who are shaping and disrupting the tourism industry with inclusive ideas.
- LGBTQ nonprofit leaders and founders with inspiring stories.
- Marketing professionals with experience promoting destinations and businesses to LGBTQ consumers.
- LGBTQ Influencers, bloggers and media professionals known in their industry for creating memorable and creative content.
- Real estate professionals with vacation rental expertise.
What can you share?
- Think about your story’s value to the audience and how it will be remembered. What is the key takeaway of your story? Is your goal to inspire, motivate or raise awareness?
- Does your story fit with an LGBTQ tourism audience? Your session should be inspirational, actionable and educational.
- A limited number of sponsor speaking roles are available provided it adds value to the event. No sales pitches please. Feel free to inquire about opportunities.
- Most importantly, what value do YOU offer beyond your topic? The FLOCC team will have full editorial discretion on the agenda. While we may not select your topic choice for a breakout sessions, we may ask you to sit on a panel or to lead a breakout session specifically designed for this event with your voice in mind.

- We are currently accepting submissions for FLOCC 2023 (Aug 1st to Aug 3rd). Make sure to read the fine print before submitting.
Fine Print

- All speakers (earned speaking roles) receive a complimentary speaker pass for the day of presentation at the convention. If you’d like to attend the full convention, a discount code will be provided.
- We do not pay a speaker fee.
- Logistical expenses (travel, accommodations, etc.) are covered by the speaker.
- Content must be uniquely customized for the FLOCC audience.
- Spaces are limited and some proposals may be offered a slot in a different format or stage than originally applied for.
- Successful proposals are chosen based on the proposed idea and speakers suggested. Changes in subject or speakers have to go through the content team and may lead to the cancelation of the session.
- Once offers are accepted, and speaker and session content have been confirmed, we will add the session to the event agenda. We may list the speaker as a confirmed speaker on the speaker page in advance of finalizing the speaker details.
Jaime and Katie Filer have been married since 2018 and Instagram influencers since 2019, but their moms have been sharing their photos through the internet since the early 90’s. They share a passion for all things queer, fitness, and fun. Together, they run Filer Fitness; an online health coaching business that specializes in helping the LGBTQ+ community overcome overwhelm, reduce anxiety, and build confidence through movement and nutrition. The fact that they live, work, and go to the gym together 24/7 means they could snap at any minute. This is one dynamic duo you don’t want to miss!
